By seeing the work quality of BWA, UNICEF decided to provide a PCA for 6 months to BWA for the Nutrition Project in Umerkot under the title "Community-based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) and Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) programs in district Umerkot, Sindh, Pakistan".

 

BWA covered 12 Union Councils (UCs) namely: Kharoro Syed, Khejrari, Faqir Abdullah, Mir Wali Mohammad Talpur, Sabho, Umerkot, Gharibabad, Atta Mohammad Palli, DhoroNaro, Kaplora, Choore, and Khokhrapar of Taluka Umerkot, District Umerkot, Sindh.

 

The Project started on 25th December 2011 and ended on 25th June 2012.

 

The Project was successfully completed and targets were achieved.
