During the floods in 2011 in Sindh, BWA worked with WFP in 4 UCs Kharoro Syed, Khejrari, Faqir Abdullah, and Mir Wali Mohammad Talpur of Taluka Umerkot, District Umerkot, Sindh.

 

It was a 2 months project which started on 18th October 2011 and ended on 17th December 2011, under the title "The Implementation of the Community-Based Management of Acute Malnutrition".

 

BWA distributed over 40 trucks of food to the flood victims especially to the Children and Pregnant and Lactating Women.

 

The Project was completed successfully.
